Collected Personal Data

In order to get insurance coverage, personally identifiable information is needed from you. We will collect for submission to insurance carriers either by phone or data form, the following: First Name, Last Name, Social Security Number, Home Address (must live in California), household members information, vehicles make, model and year and any other information requested by the carriers. Business policies requires EIN numbers, business executives who will be signing the policy, business financial information such as payroll documentation, financial statements or bank statements, existing policies, proof of coverage, and any other information required in order for successful underwriting.

We take your data and privacy seriously and upon request, you can demand to see a report on where you application and data is and where it is stored. We regularly undergo in-person compliance and safety audits to ensure the physical safety of your data as well as preform stress points on our computer systems.

Per the California Insurance Code, every insurance producer or consultant selling insurance must have a current license in the state that they operate in. Apart of the licensing process is a background and fingerprint check with the state of California for criminal and/or financial crimes and you must pass to receive your license. Selling insurance without a license is a crime and punishable by the law. 

Please note that certain insurance products require special licensing and may not always be available at all times. In those special cases, we will refer you to a trusted partner that is. 

Purpose of collecting data

Your data is collected for the purpose of underwriting insurance policies, updating customer databases and for marketing efforts. You have the right to opt out of marketing messaging but keep in mind that we may need to contact you for the purpose of administration of your account. We will hold records for the California Insurance Code recommended amount of time which is 5 years and then we will destroy it in the safetest way possible.
